As a spiritual leader, it’s easy to fall into the habit of giving and administering to your flock without pouring into your cup. But even the strongest among us need support or we will eventually falter.
CHC-PMX provides coaching for pastors and other clergy members who need guidance or who desire to enhance their leadership skills. Whether you’re a new pastor, you’re joining a new church family, or just need a little extra support to meet the needs of your community, our coaches are here to help.
First 100 Days Coaching
For pastors entering a new place of service, we offer the “First 100 Days” Coaching. This service includes preparation, counseling, individualized goal-setting, and performance reviews.
The structure we provide during your first 100 days with a new congregation is designed to help you create a positive first impression and start building strong connections within your new church. We’ll discuss and facilitate staff introductions, direction, congregational meetings, and programs.
Leadership Coaching
We offer leadership coaching for pastors and clergy who have settled into their roles but desire to continue spiritual growth as leaders. Often, the roles of a spiritual and administrative leader can feel contradictory. You may have difficulty reconciling them or prefer one leadership style. Our coaches are here to help you marry the concerns of the secular with the pursuit of the spiritual.
Our leadership coaching covers a range of issues depending on your personal needs and your vision for your church. We customize each coaching plan to the individual client. From staff management to financial planning, we’re here to help you master what has been put in your care.
Follow Up Coaching
For most of us, going over something once isn’t enough to help us master it. It’s practice and repetition that make new teachings second nature. That’s why we offer follow-up coaching for any of our clients.
This may take the form of periodic performance reviews or just checking in to ensure that you’re making progress toward your goals. Accountability is often the most vital component of success, so our coaches are here to offer that for you.
Do I Need Coaching?
Remember, bringing in a coach does not mean something is wrong with you or your church. Like in sports, a coach guides you to perform at your highest level and lead you to victory. The most successful churches often use leadership coaching as a proactive tool to help keep their church aligned with their community’s and congregation’s needs.
