Sarah Shelton

Rev. Sarah Shelton, a distinguished graduate of The University of Alabama and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, brings over four decades of pastoral experience to our community. As the former Pastor Emeritus of the Baptist Church of the Covenant in Birmingham, Alabama, Rev. Shelton has demonstrated a deep commitment to nurturing young women in ministry.

In retirement, Rev. Shelton has continued her mission through mentor coaching of female clergy as a strategist at The Center for Congregational Resources. Her dedication to empowering women in ministry has earned her widespread admiration and respect within the religious community.

Her work at the Center for Healthy Churches and PneuMatrix will enable her to work even more broadly as she provides coaching, support, and wisdom for women ministers overcoming the particular challenges that women face in ministry.
