Bob Dale to join Center for Healthy Churches Team

Bob Dale

Robert (Bob) Dale, noted author, consultant and coach, is joining forces with The Center for Healthy Churches as a leadership coach. For nearly fifty years, Dale has been a thought-leader in the world of congregations as they engage the question of health and vibrancy. Following a distinguished career as a pastor, seminary professor and denominational leader, Bob now turns his focus toward coaching. In that role, he is helping guide a generation of clergy and laity toward a healthier understanding of leadership and maturity.

In describing his work with CHC, Dale said: “I’m honored to join a lively network of fellow coaches.  Our ministry to ministers and congregations who are ready for healthy growth is a welcome opportunity.”

CHC Coordinator Bill Wilson says: “Bob Dale has been a mentor and hero to me since I became a minister forty years ago. His insights about church health and his wisdom regarding congregational life are unmatched. It is hard to imagine how many students, clergy, and lay leaders have been touched and inspired by him across the years. Having him join our team of coaches is a gift for which I am profoundly grateful.”

The author of 23 books, Dale is retired and living in Richmond VA. His time is spent writing, coaching and spoiling his grandchildren.

The Center for Healthy Churches formed in 2014, consists of eighteen consultants and sixteen coaches who have created a trans-denominational national network that brings hope, help and healing to churches and clergy.
