In 2022 we partnered with the Center for Healthy Churches as we searched for a new Minister of Music and Worship. From our initial conversation to the day our new minister arrived in town, the Center exceeded all of our expectations.
Seth Hix guided us with wisdom and expertise at every turn. I couldn’t be more thrilled with both the process and the end result.
I would highly recommend both Seth and the Center for Healthy Churches to any congregation about to begin a ministerial search process.

“It is a pleasure to commend to churches in transition the consultant skills of Seth Hix. Seth is very knowledgeable of church transition dynamics and realities. I have seen him lead churches through these times and have always been impressed with his abilities. He is skilled, always well-prepared, presents engaging content, and excels in relationships with congregations. Seth was the consultant to the latest church I served as Interim Pastor, and he endeared himself to this congregation. I highly recommend him and his leadership to churches in need. He is most capable.”

“It was my pleasure to serve Zebulon Baptist Church in Zebulon, N.C. as Interim Pastor following the lengthy tenure in excess of forty years of a beloved pastor. The church knew it faced some major transitions and wisely called Seth Hix as the Transition Consultant. Seth led this church admirably through the necessary transition stages with skill and availability, superb content, and a friendly spirit.
His work was exactly what the church needed, and this congregation is greatly indebted to him for his leadership and service. The people feel they are now well-prepared for the upcoming new chapter in their history.”

Seth's support for the pastor search team at University Baptist Church in Chapel Hill was a blessing. Our team commenced its search at the beginning of the COVID pandemic, and during this time of uncertainty, Seth maintained the patience, prayerfulness, and search guidance that we needed to navigate the search process. We are thankful for his time and caring attitude.

I am excited about Seth joining our team. We work with more churches in North Carolina than any other place in the country, and Seth is well-known and greatly respected because of his work with CBF NC. He has helped a lot of congregations in that role and especially helped them be very intentional about the ministers that they call. We’re grateful to get the benefit of all that experience. Also, while we have many former pastors on our team, we need people with different backgrounds and experiences. Seth’s previous work in music and worship adds to our ability to help congregations seeking their next Minister of Music. It is great to have him join our community as we help the Church together.
